Within the framework of the International project “Clicking with Voters” implemented by the UNESCO/UNITWIN Chair at Daugavpils University we have organized three youth parliament sessions for the Bachelor program students on heated and most discussed issues Inthe EU countries, namely refugee crises and way of integrating refugees in the countries of the EU on March 23, 2019.
At the beginning of the discussion the associate professor from Daugavpils University Dzintra Iliško and the researcher Mārīte Kravale – Pauliņa have shared with the students the aims, the ask and project activities of the project that are taking place in other partner countries. During the session the participants played problem situations about the refugee issues, discussed philosophical aspect of understanding of the notion “the other” and other global questions which EU countries are coming across recently.
